WiFi Settings

You can configure settings for connecting your smartpen to a WiFi network. Following is a list of the settings on the WiFi Settings menu.

You can access WiFi settings by tapping the center of the Menu button. Then tap down to Settings and tap right to select. Next tap down to WiFi Settings and tap right to select.

Some of these WiFi Settings are also accessible by tapping a paper button. Several of them, however, are accessible only from the Main Menu system of the smartpen.

Setting Name Values Description
     
Check Connectivity Name of network to which your smartpen is connected, or an icon indicating lack of connection. Verifies whether your Livescribe wifi smartpen is connected to the internet.

Disconnect (none) Disconnects your smartpen from the WiFi network to which it is currently connected.

Find networks List of WiFi networks found by your smartpen Scans for WiFi networks that are in range of your smartpen.

Forget a network List of WiFi networks from previous connections Lists networks to which your smartpen has previously connected. Tap down to locate the network you want. Tap right to remove that network.

Forget all networks (none) Removes all networks to which your smartpen has been previously connected.

List networks List of WiFi networks from previous connections. Displays list of networks to which your smartpen has previously connected. Select one to connect to it.

Manage networks A submenu Displays a submenu in which you can manage the list of networks to which your smartpen has previously connected.

Status WiFi network name, IP Address of your smartpen Displays connection settings if your smartpen is connected to a WiFi network. Otherwise, displays: Not connected.

Checking Connection Information

WiFi On/Off On, Off Turns WiFi radio on or off.
