Title: confusing
I was upset and regretted to spend money on this pen, and was going to return. It was so confusing and complicated the process of making this work, it should be simpler than this. I tried first on my macbook pro , but gave me so much head ache, then I tried on windows 7 on a del computer both didn't work, finally I gave a last shot on my macbook pro and it looks like this application is on my pen now.

Title: Easy-as-pie
Excellent smartpen app. As for the "reviews" complaining that the app does't download during store check-out - it doesn't. Rather, once purchase is confirmed and you have a receipt - simply launch LiveScribe Desktop app. The app will automatically launch and download your purchases (ala iTunes-style). I admit - LiveScribe folks could make this more apparent in the check-out screen of the store (as a bolder notice above the step-by-step instructions, maybe?) I saw the first line of the instructions stated "you must have the latest version of Desktop software" - and stopped reading, assuming the rest related to that. It doesn't - it describes that your app will download and install from INSIDE the Desktop application. So, only 4 stars for this (the slight confusion I experienced) :P

After you redeem your code you have to go to your livescribe program and click application manager, then the check for updates and lastly download and install.

Title: Problems with loading software to pen
If you go to Navigation and then Application Manager. Next, go to Help and then Check for updates. (Make sure you smartpen is connected to your computer). It should start to update with the new app. If you still have problems, contact Livescribe.

Title: Didn't Download
Tried to print receipt before downloading. Went back to download and it tells me its already been downloaded. Tried to redeem again. It says it's already been redeemed. Now I'm up the proverbial Creek.

Title: SPELL CHECK Want update
I would like to have a spell check added to this App that would correct your spelling or look for misspelled words so you can correct them or look up words your not sure how to spell!!!

Title: Finally Success!
After repeated attempts of trouble shooting, the application finally appeared (automatically) in my download manager (after close to an hour), and allowed me to transfer the application to my smartpen! The instructions for trouble shooting were useless to me because they lost me at "right click FileItems.EDB" which I could not locate! The program is working very well! Be very patient!!

Title: Frustrated
I have tried every suggestion in Livescribes help desk and I can not get this app on my pen. It does the 1st download fine then nothing, press bright green + and fails 100+ times! What next here? Do I get my $ back, forced to buy again or just SOL? Please fix, I think this app could really help me out, was so excited. Thanks.

Title: This sounds nice, but won't download

I bought this software the day i purchased my pulse pen, and it will not download onto the pen. I also got a free spanish download, and that one downloaded perfectly. How can I get this onto my PEN?
