Won't open on my PC using Windows 7. Very disappointing. I get an error message stating that it is an incompatible application.
You all DO realize this is not an ipod but an educational tool so if youre looking to play 200 songs, you might need to reevaluate your purpose in school. Honestly do the kids today expect everything they touch to play music?!?!?! How about paying attention to your class you are recording.....get a clue...
The app does not play music when you try to write notes...whats the point? Fix it. Unless someone can explain how to do it. Otherwise 5 stars.
I just received my pen in the mail this past weekend and bought this app soon after, thinking that I could take notes while listening to music, but that does not seem to be the case. The sound quality is pretty good, but unless someone has better experience with this, I would have given it a better rating if I could write and listen to music simultaneously with the pen.
I almost didn't buy this app because of some of the negative reviews that I read. However, I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. The app works well. I did notice that sometimes there's a slight pause when scrolling to the next song. It's not a deal-breaker by no means, just takes a little getting used to. One review says you have to scroll the entire list to find a song, but Flick & Scrub allows you to quickly scroll the songs. Excellent playback quality with my earphones (I'm not using the 3D headset), which is what really amazed me and made me glad I bought the app. The only reason I'm giving this app four stars instead of 5 is because of the Transfer Utility. It literally took approximately 1 hour to convert and transfer songs to the pen. Don't use if you're in a hurry! All in all, it's a great app and one of those must have apps that will wow your friends!
Great app, easy to use, and I enjoy using it. Problem is the playlist and song name text blanks out or goes invisible in the transfer utility. Makes it very difficult to build playlists and songs when you dont know what is in there.
The desktop app is splendid and very smart (it transfers only the changes you've made to your playlists). The smartpen app is user-friendly and does it's jobs smoothly.
Very nice app, works great.
It seems some review are not objective (the 1 star reviews), I suspect them to be written by a competitor developer... for me this is the only true 5 star app of the store: PC and Smartpen apps are both extremely well designed, especially in terms of ease of use, and also very robust, not to say about sound quality which is great. Clearly worth it: 5 stars for sure!
This app asks you to draw buttons on a paper sheet: play, pause, next, previous... and then you can just click to use them! Just be warned that the MP3 transfer tool is for Windows PC users only, so this app is not for MAC users.
This app is hard to figure out how to use. Not a great experience.
The new "Music Player Transfer Tool" version 2 supports multi-threading for smooth transfer of huge playlists. Also you can organize your songs into playlists for easy access without having to navigate through all your songs. Finally the previous review "junk" is untrue because we do answer to all support requests!
Continuously stops responding with message "Program Not Responding". No search and no pause. If you have 50 or 200 songs, you must go through EACH and EVERY song to find the one you want. Will be asking for a refund. PS. Also causes pen to freeze up for a few minutes. This software should have not been released until tested and working properly. No tech support found and help menu sucks. It makes LiveScribe look really bad. This app needs to be removed until fixed. Do Not Buy!
its a cool app but i donno why the software is not opening in my pc.
I love it: my Smartpen just became the best MP3 player I've ever had! It's a great app because it let's you draw your MP3 player buttons with your own graphical style. Also the smartpen is much lighter than my iPhone to listen to music when I'm running (and sound quality is great). Final note: the PC app is just perfect ease of use. Bravo!
