With Livescribe Connect, you can also create and share your notes and audio recordings as interactive pencast PDFs. Now anyone with the free Adobe Reader(R) 10 or higher can easily hear, see and share an interactive Pencast PDF.
Note: All 4GB and 8GB Echo smartpen users receive Livescribe Connect Premium for free as part of their Livescribe Desktop download. All Pulse and 2GB Echo smartpen users can upgrade to Connect Premium for these additional sharing capabilities.

Email Connector

- Send handwritten notes and audio recordings from your paper using email shortcuts or imported addresses.
- Drag and drop your pages, with or without audio, directly from Livescribe Desktop to the Email Connector.
Google Docs Connector
- Collaborate on projects quickly and easily using your smartpen and Google Docs. Anyone working can quickly share a pencast with their team.
- Post handwritten notes and audio recordings from your paper using the Google Docs shortcut, just write "Google" and select the pages you want to send.
- Drag and drop your pages, with or without audio, directly from Livescribe Desktop to the Google Docs Connector.
Google Sites Connector
- Embed and play pencasts directly on Google Sites as it’s own sub-page.
- Designate the Site, page and sub-page where you would like to post your pencast (based on Google default set of 5 templates). Pencast will post to that page and play natively from there
- Launch Line name: Google Sites
Email Connector
- Active email service such as Microsoft Exchange, SMTP, AOL, Hotmail, Google Gmail or Yahoo! Mail Plus.

Title: It really does do what it says!
I had been looking for a way to easily take notes on my Asus tablet using a stylus, but due to the screen configuration it turned out not to be practical unless I use the docking keyboard. I was looking for another tablet/solution and came across the Livescribe pen. I read a number of reviews and watched user and review videos. It looked like the real McCoy and I bought it today. I have already installed the software, updated the pen, installed MyScript, and used the software to accomplish exactly what the pen is advertised to do. Now I can take notes in a way that I am accustomed to do and then use them on my tablet - a great solution. I am very pleased with the Echo and look forward to using it on a regular basis. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about taking notes and transferring them easily to a computer/tablet, including converting them to text for emailing and sharing. This is something really rare: an excellent product!

Title: never had a problem
I've read many reviews of folks having problems. But their issues are with installing the software or downloading, not with the already functioning suite. I would suspect that if they got it installed properly, through whatever means was preventing their success, they would be as pleased with this product as everyone else. I have never had any problems either downloading software, installing software or connecting the pen. Everything works perfectly.

Title: Great for Management
I have had this for a few months. I have installed the software on my personal laptop and my work computer. This is great for in-flight work where trying to pull out the laptop in economy doesn't work. I also use it to record our management meetings and take notes. The ability to go to the recording at the time of writing is awesome. Makes following up very easy. I have only installed on Windows 7 (home and pro) machines, but I haven't had any difficulties. Since I have the 8GB pro pack, I did find I had to plug in the pen before the extra pro update would download. Overall, this has been a great time saver.

Title: Late XMas Present to Myself
Wow, cool add-on to my Pulse pen. I teach college and plan on using this new feature to create teaching materials. I've already played with the email and PDF functions and I love them. Flowcharts, here I come.

Title: Worked First Time!
As a long time pulse user I took the plung and upgraded to the premium apps. I purchased from within livescribe desktop (Mac) and it was installed in seconds. My wife is using the premium echo pack on her windows machine without problems either. Maybe the issues reported earlier are fixed now.

Title: Can not install
Was very excited to use this with my brand new pen but no such luck. I have found a few recomendations to reinstall firmware but that seems odd since it is brand new and has the latest firmware. I am excited about the potential of the software but still can't install.

So far I have wasted two hours of my life trying to login to Livescribe Desktop. I have heard a good recommendation about the NotesPlus system with iPAD. I will try that next.

I have a 4gb Echo and the connect software works perfectly. I have connected all my info, sent email, and even to facebook with no trouble at all. I tested to mobil device, and that works great as well. The google docs is really cool if you like to share in the PDF format. I like my pen, I do not use it for everything, but it is a great way to share diagrams with others. I also connected it to my Ipad, now if I could just write on my Ipad with this, now that would be too cool! Thanks for the great software! Robert

Title: Not Worth It - Doesn't Install
After going round and round with Service and support, the application shows up on my desktop but will not transfer to the pulse smartpen 2 Gb. I sent a screen shot to technical support, which appears to have been ignored that shows it is there, but doesn't install. Don't waste your money... promises ot kept.
