Livescribe and Vision Objects Support 25 Foreign Languages for Handwriting to Text Transcription Software

OAKLAND, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2009) - Livescribe Inc. (www.livescribe.com) and Vision Objects announced today MyScript for Livescribe, handwriting-to-text transcription software for the Pulse smartpen, supports for free an extra 25 languages in addition to US English.

The additional languages include:

Pulse smartpen owners for both Windows and Mac can download a free 30–day trial or purchase MyScript for Livescribe at www.visionobjects.com. Once downloaded, consumers can add additional languages by taking the following steps:

• Open MyScript for Livescribe
• Select the Preferences option within the Tool menu
• Select the Languages tab and click on “Get More,” which will auto–launch the Web browser
• Select the language to add from Vision Objects' Web site
• Once downloaded, “run” the file to install it to the computer
• Once installed, restart MyScript for Livescribe and the added language will appear in the Languages tab

With MyScript for Livescribe, Pulse smartpen users can make edits to their converted text and even create a personal dictionary of frequently used words, names, abbreviations or terms for an even more accurate conversion. They can also:

• Directly send handwritten notes from Livescribe Desktop to MyScript
• Convert shapes, drawings and tables, as well as handwriting
• Send edited text to Microsoft Word or email, or save it as a picture file

Pulse Smartpen
