Turning the WiFi Radio Off and On

You can tap a paper button to turn the smartpen's WiFi radio off or on.

Note: When you do not wish to sync notes and audio to Evernote or another online destination, it is best to turn off the WiFi radio to conserve battery power and avoid background synchronization.
  1. In the Livescribe Starter Notebook or a WiFi sticker sheet, tap the WiFi Off/On button.

    The smartpen tells you the current status and then prompts you to change it. To leave the current status unchanged, tap anywhere on unwritten Livescribe Dot Paper.

  2. Tap the WiFI Off/On button again to make a change.

    If the radio is currently on, it will be turned off. If the radio is currently off, it will be turned on. The smartpen screen displays the new status: WiFi is OFF or WiFi is ON.
