Open the inside cover of your Livescribe Dot Paper product, such
as the Starter notebook, and locate the
Smartpen Settings area.

Tap the
Brightness button
.

Tap multiple times to scroll through the screen brightness
settings. Values are 100%, 90%, 75%, 50%, 10% 0%. The lower brightness settings
are optimal for dark room environments, such as when a speaker is presenting a
slideshow.
Alternatively, you can
use the Menu button. Tap down to
Settings and tap right to select. Then tap down to
the
Display Brightness option and tap right to select.
Tap up and down to locate the setting you want, and tap right to select.
