Smartpen Notebooks

After you link your Livescribe smartpen to your Evernote account, your Evernote notebooks will include a "notebook stack" named after your smartpen

A notebook stack is like a folder that can contain multiple notebooks.

The stack contains one notebook for each of the Livescribe Dot Paper notebooks in which you have written with your smartpen. Only pages you wrote on will appear in Evernote. If a page has associated audio, the ink displays in green, and clicking green ink plays the audio. If a page has no associated audio, all ink displays as black. Notebooks have names such as: A5 - Wifi Starter Notebook 1 and Sticky Notes.

The stack also contains a Livescribe Recordings notebook, which consists of one page for each recording that has been synced to Evernote. Clicking the Play button plays back the audio only. Clicking anywhere else in the note launches Livescribe Player, which displays the first notebook page associated with the audio.
