Syncing via Livescribe Helper

As an alternative to syncing by WiFi, you can use your computer’s internet connection, your Micro-USB cable, and Livescribe Helper to sync your notes and audio with your Evernote account.

1. Make sure your computer can connect to the internet. Start your web browser to test it.
2. Launch Livescribe Helper on your Mac or Windows computer.

   In Windows, go to Start > All Programs > Livescribe > Livescribe Helper.

   On Mac, locate Livescribe Helper under Applications.

3. Connect the Micro-USB cable to your smartpen and your computer.

   Livescribe Helper will check for required firmware updates.

   Important: Do not disconnect the smartpen from the computer before the update is complete! An incomplete update can make your smartpen inoperable.
4. Click the Continue button. Then click the Sync button to start syncing with your Evernote account.
5. Wait until the smartpen screen displays "Finished Syncing."
