Erase All Content and Settings

You can erase all content and settings from your smartpen. Please read the complete details about this feature before using it!

If you wish to sell or give your Livescribe wifi smartpen to another person, you will want to remove your data from it. After you are done, the new user must register the smartpen at www.livescribe.com/setup.

The Erase all content and settings feature does the following:

Removes all your data from your smartpen. Be sure that all of your notes and audio sessions have been synced to Evernote.
Unregisters your smartpen from Livescribe.
Does NOT unlink the Livescribe and Evernote accounts. You will continue to be able to view and play your notes and audio in Evernote.

Important: Please contact Livescribe Customer Service BEFORE using this feature! They will assist you.

To erase all content and settings from your smartpen:

Make sure your smartpen is connected to the internet either through a WiFi network or using the micro-USB cable and an internet-connected computer. The smartpen needs to connect to the Livescribe web site during this process.
Double-tap the center of the Menu button. Then tap down to Settings and tap right to select.
Tap down to Erase all content and settings and tap right to select.
Tap right to confirm. The smartpen will erase all your data and reboot. You may now give the smartpen to another person.
