Drawing a Menu Plus

If a printer Menu button is not easily accessible, create your own by drawing a special plus sign on Livescribe Dot Paper.

  1. Locate an area of Livescribe Dot Paper that has no buttons or writing.
  2. Draw intersecting vertical and horizontal lines.

You can draw the intersecting lines in either order. They must be fairly straight, roughly the same length, and intersect near their centers.

  3. Within one second of drawing the lines, double-tap the center of your plus sign.

A Menu Plus is automatically created for you, and the Main Menu displays on the smartpen screen.

After drawing a Menu Plus, you can use it any time. Just tap on it.

Note: When using your Menu Plus to navigate up, down, left, and right through the smartpen menus, be sure to tap far enough away from the center of the Menu Plus to activate the desired direction. Tapping too near the center counts as a Center Tap.
