Connecting to a WiFi Network

Your smartpen can connect to a WiFi network.

Make sure you are in range of a WiFi network and have the password for it. You will also need the Livescribe Starter Notebook or the WiFi sticker sheet, both included in the smartpen box.

  1. Tap the Scan for Networks button

    Your smartpen scans available WiFi networks that are within range. You may need to select the Scan for Networks button more than once if you don't see the WiFi network you are looking for immediately.

  2. Under Find your Network tap the up and down buttons to scroll through the list of networks that are in range.
  3. When your network's name appears on the smartpen screen, tap the check button under Select your Network.
  4. If your network requires a password, enter the password by tapping on the paper keyboard under Enter Password.

  5. When you have entered the password, tap the Enter button.

    When successful, the smartpen displays Connected to (your network name).
