Checking the Battery Level

Check the remaining battery level of your smartpen before continuing. Your smartpen was charged at the factory and should arrive with enough power for you to begin. You can check the level now and in the future with a tap of the smartpen.

  1. Start your smartpen.
  2. Open the inside cover of your Livescribe Dot Paper notebook and locate the Status area.
  3. Tap the Battery button to see the current battery charge.
