Deleting Recordings from a Smartpen

To delete an audio recording, you delete its Paper Replay session. Deleting sessions removes only the audio—not the associated notes stored on the smartpen.

After deleting a session from the smartpen, tapping the paper notes no longer plays their audio. However, if you synced the session to your Evernote account, you can replay the notes and audio using Livescribe Player. We recommend that you sync sessions to Evernote before deleting, unless you are sure you do not want the audio recording.

Note: Deleting from the smartpen does not affect content in Evernote. Be aware, though, that If you delete a session from both the smartpen and Evernote, you no longer have access to the recording.
