Limited Release: Now Available for Preorder Customers Only

Thank you for your support and interest in our Pulse™ smartpen and platform! We have been overwhelmed with preorders that have far exceeded our early projections.

I am delighted to announce that beginning today, March 31st, Livescribe is taking orders, and will be shipping in limited volume to our preorder customers.

To address our backlog of preorders, we are opening the Livescribe Store to preorder customers only for the next 10 days. Your priority status expires at midnight on April 10th, 2008.

When you place your order, we will provide you with an estimated shipment date based upon your preorder date. Please take the following steps to complete your purchase:

1. Go to www.livescribe.com/store.
2. Create a Livescribe account using the same email address you submitted to www.livescribe.com when you preordered. (Use the email address to which this email has been sent.)
3. Once you've created your account, you will be notified of your expected delivery date based on your preorder date.
4. You will then be able to enter the Livescribe Store and complete your purchase.

We're ramping up our production to get you a Pulse smartpen as quickly as possible, and anticipate fulfilling the entire backlog of preorders within 4-6 weeks.
Please note: your credit card will not be charged until your smartpen is shipped to you.

Please be aware of the following additional Limited Release program restrictions:

1. Your Limited Release Pulse smartpen is compatible with Windows XP SP2 or Vista SP1 only*.
2. Preorder customers may only place one order during the priority period and may order a maximum of 2 Pulse smartpens per order.
3. 3. We will initially be shipping via FedEx to US residents only – we cannot ship to P.O. boxes or international customers at this time.

*Note to Mac Users: we are actively developing a native Mac solution. Please note that our product is not currently compatible with Parallels or VMWare. We are working hard to resolve both of these issues, and will post more details and timing as soon as possible.
