Just thought I'd point out a minor error in your text. You wrote that the further back an object is, the higher on the paper it should be. However, this only holds true beneath the horizon line. For objects above the horizon line (the tops of the telephone poles, for instance), the opposite is true. In general, when an object is moved further back, it gets closer to the horizon.
