Description:
This is a good one which introduces a very important situation: what happens if we don't have enough equilibrium equations to uniquely solve for all the unknowns? Answer: we need more equations, and for statically indeterminate problems those equations typically come in the form of a displacement constraint. This module introduces two ways to incorporate those displacement constraints into your problem solving.
