Pulse Smartpen Wins Mac|Life Editor’s Choice Award

Hot on the heels of the launch of Livescribe Desktop for Mac version 1.0, the editors at Mac|Life Magazine deemed the Pulse smartpen an “Editor’s Choice” award and gave the Pulse smartpen the score 5 out of 5. Sr. Editor Dylan Tweny at Wired.com just posted a video review of the Pulse smartpen - watch it below!

After showing how the Pulse smartpen works, Dylan gives his verdict: “Bottom line: This is a great pen for students or journalists. It’s also actually a lot of fun for kids. My daughter who is 7 years old loves to play with it while she scribbles all over the page and makes crazy sounds or, draws pictures and tells stories at the same time, so I highly recommend this pen.”

The awards keep on rolling in for Livescribe as Laptop Magazine names Pulse a 2009 Mobile Innovation Awards Recipient.  Also, Ross Rubin at Engadget awarded Pulse one of his annual “Switchie” awards, honoring the most innovative devices of the year.

Also, Etan Horowitz at the Orlando Sentinel posted a great review of the Pulse smartpen for all of you to pass on to friends and family still on fence. Etan offers, “For reporters, students or others who take a lot of notes, it’s a pretty ingenious gadget,” and embeds a video of Pulse in action.
