Calling all San Francisco/Bay Area educators! In honor of Connected Educator Month, Livescribe wants to share a great opportunity for you to learn how to use cloud technology in your classrooms with Evernote’s upcoming Creating Portfolios Workshop. For those of you outside the Bay Area, you can still view this special event by satellite. Join Evernote on August 23 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. (lunch will be served) for an interactive demonstration of how students can use Evernote to create, collect and collaborate as they build their personal, digital portfolios. You’ll watch live demonstrations, participate in interactive activities and enjoy hands-on training with Evernote and their entire family of apps.
Rob van Nood, a teacher at Trillium Charter School in Portland, will lead a presentation on how to implement digital portfolios in a classroom, school or district. He’ll share the story of how he found, assessed and ultimately implemented Evernote with his students and also outline his program’s results. William Stites and Reshan Richards of the Montclair Kimberley Academy will present how they are using Evernote in a 1:1 environment for their students’ portfolios.
To register for the workshop, use this link and the promo code “evschools” to receive a 50 percent discount on your ticket!
