Livescribe Recognized for Going Green

Monday, January 31st, 2011

Livescribe was recently awarded with a Green Product of the Year award by Corporate Kindness, the non-profit agency which produces the annual Green Office Guide.

According to Executive Director, George O’Loughlin, “The Echo Smartpen was selected due to the strong positive response from our clients to the technologies usefulness and because the pen reduces the amount of paper used in note taking - resulting from its audio recording and indexing capability.  Additionally, the quality of the pen as a business tool makes it anything but disposable.  “Why buy a Bic disposable for 99 cents when you can own a smartpen for $99?” is what we’re telling our readers about this awesome invention now!”

Livescribe Wins SAP TechEd Demo Jam

Friday, October 15th, 2010

We like to toot our own horn from time to time and this week’s win of the SAP TechEd Demo Jam is cause for celebration! Livescribe is dedicated to changing the way people capture, access and share written and spoken information – and thousands of SAP partners, customers and employees were impressed by the strong set of features we presented to them in Berlin earlier this week. At the SAP TechEd, we had a unique opportunity to demo our smartpen solution and preview how Livescribe’s technology can support note taking and collaboration with ink and paper on the document management systems from software maker SAP. In a tight race, the audience acted as a jury and voted Livescribe as the best amongst a number of stunning and electrifying applications. What an honor!
