Good Morning, Livescribe fans!
As you know from previous posts, we kicked off the Livescribe Application Challenge in December, asking developers from around the globe to create original education, productivity and entertainment apps for the Pulse smartpen. We received more than 45 clever, useful and fun submissions.
For the past month our Livescribe fans and an expert panel of celebrity judges have been reviewing submissions and casting their votes. Well, the votes are in.
Drum roll please…the winners are:
Expert Panel Grand Prize ($5,000):
-Audible Healthcare by developer Charles Caraher
People’s Choice Grand Prize Winner ($5,000):
-nodewave MasterMind by developer Michel Bagnol
People’s Choice Category Winners ($500):
-Education: iDK Words/Thesaurus by developer Phil Trevino
SpellingMe by developer Brad Rippe
-Entertainment: Sudoku by developer Chris Rogers
-Productivity: Swiss Knife All-in-One by developer Michel Bagnol
We want you to be the first to see these awesome new apps, most of which are now available for purchase in the Livescribe Beta Application Store. Additionally, the contest winners are featured in this pencast.
Thank you to everyone who offered their own app ideas and helped us select the People’s Choice winners and to our developer community for continuing to create innovative apps.
And a very special thanks to our panel of expert judges from around the world:
- Nick Broughall, editor of Gizmodo Australia
