Got the email - store won’t let me checkout. Stop teasing already!

  2. Stephan Says:

    April Fools?

Just kidding, I’m excited to see this product start rolling along with the reviews.

  3. ernien Says:

Order placed! I can’t wait to get my hands on the pen.

    Thanks Livescribe!

  4. Anil Says:

I have pre-ordered mine! This is the best Monday… EVER!!! :)

  5. Janie Says:

“Oh Happy Day! Oh Happy DAAAAY!” [You know the song. I'm singin' it. :-) ]

  6. schalliol Says:

I just placed my order. I find this interesting though, I placed my pre-order on 11/21/2007, which was the first time I saw a pre-order form available, yet I still see 4-6 weeks for shipping. When did people pre-order to have it ship today?

  7. Matt Says:

Just placed my order for two, two-gig smartpens and assorted accessories. Looking forward to exploring the steak behind the sizzle!

  8. Pen and Paper Says:

I had a problem creating my sign on using both Firefox and Safari. I had to use IE to log into the store and place my order. The $30 shipping charge almost made me decide not to order. $30 is a bit much in my opinion.

  9. gopi Says:

Is it possible to download the software app that the pen uses so we can get a bit more of a feel for how it all works?

Can the software export files into any formats readable by a Mac?

Can you use the pen with multiple Windows machines easily?

I use a Mac as my main machine, but I would like to work with one of these. I’m thinking of using a Windows machine at the office to download the data and then send it to my Mac to use.

  10. Dean Suhr Says:

Just placed my pre-order as well for a 2G pen. Quoted 4-6 weeks based on “my position in the queue”.

I read or was told by the great spokesmodel you have on the site during an earlier visit that we would be able to print our own paper. I ordered an extra set of notebooks just in case, but I hope this to be the case.

Also, count me in as a Mac user actively awaiting the Mac release. In the meantime you have told us no Parallels. In the meantime, I am assuming a full boot into BootCamp (true Vista on Intel processor) will fit the bill to run all of the software. Bummer that Parallels doesn’t work!

    Dean

  11. Martin Miller Says:

    Order placed :+)

    Thanks !

    Martin

  12. Wade Says:

wo0ho0 got my order done hoping for 4 weeks instead of 6 lol:)

  13. Lester Says:

About time!! In for 1 2GB

  14. Schalliol Says:

I too don’t know what I’m going to do without Mac software. I hope it shows up soon.

  15. Jeremy Says:

How does Parallels not work? Isn’t it the exact same thing as full Windows Vista…except in a window?

  16. Nik Says:

    Dear Livescribe Team:

To Dean’s point, can you please confirm that we will be able to print our own paper for free (without a per-page licensing fee). I believe this is a make-or-break factor for me and possibly several other customers - some clarity on this important operating expense will encourage more sales.

    Thanks,

    Nik.

  17. Chris Says:

I ordered my two 2gb pens. 4-6 weeks is a long time. Let’s hope they ship sooner. I think the 4-6 weeks bit is so they can say they have rolled it out without actuallu rolling it out. Who knows.

  18. Louis Says:

    Order placed.

Another Mac user waiting as well. Will be using it on the XP notebook for now. Perhaps some VM magic will allow at least some functionality on my MBPro.

If this really works as advertised, it will be a milestone for this technology.
    Thanks!

  19. Mila Says:

How does one become a preorder customer?

  20. Susan Says:

Mila, it is too late to become a preorder customer. The were taking pre-order names PRIOR to the start of production/shipping, but now that they are taking orders you can sign up to be notified when the Livescribe store opens to the general public. Click on “visit our store” and you will see what to do.

  21. Bettine Cavanaugh Says:

Finally! I ordered my 1 GB pen, paper, and ink and was really disappointed to see that the 4-6 week wait time. I went back over all the info I had saved since first finding the website and it goes back into December that I put in a preorder. I hope they are saying 4-6 so we will be happily surprised when it comes sooner.
